Arcutis Biotherapeutics – 2022 ESG Report
Challenge:
Arcutis was a newly commercial-stage biotech company releasing its first-ever ESG report. The challenge was to design a document that introduced their ESG identity from the ground up translating complex scientific and ethical commitments into a clean, approachable, and credible visual narrative that would build trust with patients, investors, and regulators.
Solution:
I approached the design by emphasizing clarity, transparency, and humanity values at the core of Arcutis’ mission. The layout used generous white space, soft medical-inspired color palettes, and subtle organic shapes to mirror the precision and care of dermatological science. I organized the content with clear hierarchy and modular infographics aligned to SASB and UN SDG standards, helping readers easily navigate metrics and impact areas.Photography and typography choices reinforced empathy and innovation, creating a visual tone that felt both clinical and compassionate exactly what the client wanted to convey as they defined their ESG identity.
Tractor Supply Company – 2021 TCFD/ESG Report
Challenge:
Tractor Supply’s ESG story was deeply rooted in stewardship, community, and the “Life Out Here” rural lifestyle. The challenge was to translate this authenticity into a design language that felt down-to-earth yet forward-looking aligning their long-term climate goals with their heritage of hard work and community care.
Solution:
I built the design around the theme of connection to the land. Using natural tones, landscape photography, and textures inspired by wood and soil, I created a visual rhythm that reflected the company’s environmental commitments and rural identity. The layout balanced storytelling and technical TCFD data through clear sectioning, custom infographics, and thoughtful typography hierarchy. Each page was crafted to feel approachable but data-driven, helping the report resonate with both corporate stakeholders and everyday customers. The result was a report that visually expressed Tractor Supply’s sustainability journey — rooted in authenticity, driven by purpose, and designed to inspire trust.
Argenx – 2022 ESG Report
Challenge:
argenx’s 2022 ESG Report needed to visually communicate the company’s deep scientific rigor while maintaining the warmth and empathy at the heart of its patient-centered mission. The challenge was to balance complex immunology content, data- driven ESG frameworks, and heartfelt patient stories into a single cohesive design that felt human, innovative, and trustworthy across a global audience.
Solution:
I approached the design by creating a visual narrative that mirrored argenx’s philosophy of co- creation and immunology innovation. The layout was structured around clear modular sections Patients, People, Governance, and Planet each introduced with strong typography and consistent visual cues for easy navigation. To express the duality of science and compassion, I paired clinical precision with organic design elements: clean white space, molecular-inspired graphics, and patient photography that brought real human faces to the science. The color palette drew from argenx’s brand tones, subtly layered with soft gradients to convey innovation and momentum. The result was a report that transformed dense ESG data into an accessible, emotionally resonant story reflecting argenx’s mission to connect science, people, and purpose.
